Caregiver
Caregivers are the heart of HAAS. You spend the most time with our clients — providing the kind of consistent, caring presence that makes home care work. The role suits people with patience, observation skills, and an instinct for treating others with dignity.
What you’ll do
The day-to-day.
- Provide personal care assistance: bathing, dressing, transfers, mobility, meals, medication reminders.
- Support household tasks: light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, errands when authorized.
- Document care provided each shift in keeping with state and HAAS standards.
- Communicate with clients, families, and HAAS supervisors about changes in needs or concerns.
- Build rapport with clients while maintaining clear professional boundaries.
- Follow each client's individualized care plan.
What we’re looking for
Qualifications.
- PCA/CFSS training certification (or willingness to complete it before placement — HAAS supports this).
- Reliable transportation to client homes.
- Background check clearance per Minnesota DHS requirements.
- Professional, respectful communication with clients and families.
- Bilingual or multilingual candidates strongly encouraged.
- Awareness of the Minnesota 310-hour monthly limit on PCA work across all agencies.
What we offer
Pay, schedule, and support.
- Fill out the application — about 10 minutes.
- We review within two weeks.
- Interview & offer — phone or in person.
- Competitive hourly pay, scaled to experience.
- Flexible scheduling — daytime, evening, overnight, weekend shifts available.
- Real supervisors who pick up the phone.
- Ongoing training and skill development.
